Geoff Woodman narrowly lost his tie shoot for the Lovell. Both he and Mr. Cottzee of South Africa scored 25/25, but the latter had three vees to Geoff's one.

It continued to be very warm and may be even more so today. A break may be coming tomorrow, just in time for the Queen's First Stage. Possible thunderstorms!

Although the wind yesterday was not strong, it was fickle. That, perhaps combined with the heat, caused a number of competitors, including some of our own, to be "Corped" at 1000 yards. There was quite a shake-up at the top of the Grand.

The primary Canadian scores, as far as I can find them, are:

Corporation (1000 yards): 13th Steven Spinney 50.4

Times (300 yards): 51st Patrick Champagne 50.7, 63rd Stan Frost 50.4, others in the list Scott McGinnis 50.8, Ray Smelter 50.7, Tom Walters 50.7, Geoff Woodman 50.4, Pierre Tremblay 50.4

Wimbledon (600 yards): 11th Jim Paton 50.8, 27th Ray Smeltzer 50.7.

Monday Aggregate: 18th Jim Paton 148.19, 42nd Patrick Champagne 145.13

Howcroft Newspaper Aggregate: 27th Patrick Champagne 198.27, 32nd Stan Frost 198.24

Stock Exchange: 37th Stan Frost 172.18, 43rd Patrick Champagne 171.19

Grand Aggregate to Monday: Leader, R. Birtwistle, has dropped one point at 399.51, 14th Jim Paton 395.51, 62nd Patrick Champagne 391.43, 95th Ray Smeltzer 390.41, 100th Scott Murray 390.38

The First stage of the St. George's is being fired this morning, after which most of the Canadian Team has the afternoon off..
