It was a good close match, with not too much between the teams. the Australians' perfect score at 500 yards really sealed their victory.
In the A.G. Bell, over the same course as the O\verseas. the Athelings (BCRT) beat the Canadian Cadet Bisley Team by 1232.138 to 1223.132.
In an astonishing result, Wales won the National Match by one point from England and Scotland. There will be rejoicing at Bisley and in the valleys tonight.
I do not yet have the scores for the Prince of Wales, fired this morning, and the final placings in the Grand Aggregate.
As I write this, the second stage of the St. George's is underway at 600 yards.
