The First Stage of the St. George's was fired yesterday morning. Cut-off for Stage Two was 73.8. The following from our Team have qualified: 61st Ray Smeltzer 75.8, 66th Tom Walters 75.8, 81st Stan Frost 74.13, 101st Barry Langille 74.11, 110th Patrick Champagne 74.11, 117th Steven Spinney 74.10, 155th Pat Vamplew 74.9, 229th Jeff Jenkins 73.10, 257th Cheryl Hearn 73.9. The Second stage will be fired on Thursday evening after the Overseas Team Match.

In the Grand, Mr. R. Birtwistle now has a two point lead, still having dropped only one point at 474.69. Canadian standings are (E & O E): 35th Jim Paton 467.60, 58th Patrick Champagne 465.54, 57th Ray Smeltzer 465.44, 142nd Stan Frost 461.41, 180th Barry Langille 459.52. The First Stage of the Queen's is being fired today, along with the Conan Doyle - the last long range in the Grand. It is partially overcast this morning, with a blustery wind. The forecast speaks of thundershowers in the afternoon.

The Ladies "Sherry" Party takes place later this morning, before which I shall have escaped from the Pavilion!

The NRA Semi-Annual Members' meeting will be held this evening.
